No....it's awful. There are much better things for the money.

After what you've told me about it I don't even want to ride in one. Ever

I'll say it- for the money I'd rather have an Si over a FoST.
All motor is a rarity these days. Props to Honda for being different.
Noah - Now with more boost.

Hi! I'm not brian, sry. But my family does own two new civics, one of which I use as a DD. Compared to the econoboxes of yesteryear, they're incredible. Satnav, decent sound, interesting interiors, sunroof, leather, big trunk, relatively handsome.
But they're still civics! Plenty of road noise, jittery ride, questionable AT transmission programming, MT shift feels like a plastic toy. Cloth seats have NO padding. Essentially felt-covered cardboard. Long highway journeys = lots of shifting around in the seat to avoid a numb ass. The accord is pretty beige too, but a HUGE step up imho. Wish my parents had gone that route. Noticeably smoother and quieter ride with very comfy seats and a ton of room inside. I'd go slightly used accord over new civic any day.

Fiesta is lighter, therefore better at fuel efficiency.

Yeah, they have some balls for going N/A in this segment.
